Tastefully decorated but remaining true to the country ambience, Tumble Downs has a passion for food and hospitality. With panoramic views of the Midlands and Karkloof Valley, Tumble Downs is an ideal venu for small private functions and weddings.
Tumble Downs caters for up to 80 guests with a range of menu options available to suit all budgets. Two dining alternatives are available to patrons wishing to book Tumble Downs as a function venue:
1. Restaurant: The restaurant comfortably seats 70 persons. Tastefully decorated yet simply country, this venue is ideal for the smaller more personal wedding parties. With groups ranging anything from 20 – 80 persons the room offers a feeling of space without losing intimacy. Attached to the main restaurant we offer a private dining area which can either be utilised as additional seating or as a private dancefloor. In addition there is a private pub and both wooden deck and covered veranda onto which the party can overflow and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the neighbouring countryside.
2. Garden Marque: For group numbers exceeding 80 persons you have the option to erect a garden marquee on our unspoilt lawns, which offers extensive 270° views of the surrounding Karkloof and the Kamberg. |
